Practice privacy notice
Effective 28 September 2026
MySpeedcubing is operated by Jon Joseba Larruzea Marijuan. Contact: contact@myspeedcubing.com.
What we store and why
If you choose “Save across devices”, we store named Practice sessions, event types, each scramble, measured time, +2 or DNF status, solve date, and whether the app timer or manual entry was used. Your WCA sign-in identifies your account; the Practice database stores a keyed identifier derived from your WCA ID. This lets you retrieve your own sessions on another device and review your progress. The app gives access to individual solves only to the signed-in account that owns them; it provides no coach or admin viewing feature.
Your choice
Cloud Practice storage is optional and based on your consent. “Keep on this device” leaves the existing browser storage in place. You can choose cloud storage later. Existing device solves are not uploaded automatically: importing them requires a separate action. You can withdraw consent and delete your cloud Practice sessions and solves using Practice → Storage settings → Delete my cloud Practice data. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
Storage and retention
Cloud records are held in Neon Postgres in Frankfurt and served through Vercel's application infrastructure. We delete them after 24 months without authenticated cloud Practice activity, or sooner when you request deletion. Browser-local records remain on that device until you clear or delete them. Service providers may process data to provide hosting and database services under their own applicable arrangements.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, or withdraw consent by writing to contact@myspeedcubing.com. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, such as Spain's AEPD. Cloud storage is unavailable unless you sign in with WCA and opt in. We do not use these individual Practice records for advertising or automated decisions.
